From 1998 to 2004 six International Congresses of homoeopaths of Ukraine were held in Odessa, participants of which were specialists from over 30 states. Sevastopol, Zaporozhian, Donetsk, Vinnitsa, Lvov homoeopathic Societies were resumed with the assistance of scientific-medical homoeopathic Society of Odessa region. Numerous seminars, conferences continued to be held nor only in the city but also in the Crimea, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kiev, as well as abroad - in Estonia, Italy, Russia, Czech republic. Numerous specialists from Odessa go for advanced training to the largest professional centers of the world, and also conduct their own seminars, publish books and reference books. A considerable part is occupied by publicity-elucidative activity of the Society among the population, sponsor help to the pharmacy and a number of publishing houses in translation and circulation of the professional literature. The edition of “Ukrainian homoeopathic annual” and “Bulletin of homoeopathic medicine” proceeds.

Over 25 books and brochures on homoeopathic medicine and homoeopathic pharmacy are translated and published. Odessa homoeopathic pharmacy also annually publishes the Nomenclature and methodical documents.

In 2005 Scientific-medical homoeopathic Society of Odessa region comprises more than 80 members of the Society and students. Odessa homoeopathic pharmacy has over 1500 dynamized monopreparations and over 200 complex ones in its Nomenclature that makes it one of the largest in Europe, and a leading one in the countries of CIS and Baltia. Specialists from many states send the orders here.

Since 1998 Odessa colleagues took part in all Congresses of LMHI, the largest international seminars and conferences in India, Greece, Austria, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Israel, Russia, countries of Asia.

In the first quarter of 2005 three seminars, including one international, and also general meeting of the LMHI members, were conducted by Odessa homoeopathic Society. In 2005 homoeopaths from Odessa took part in three conferences, Congress and a number of seminars. The 8th Odessa homoeopathic Congress will be held in September 2005.
From 1996 to 2005 over 60 seminars for homoeopaths, and also lectures for the population were held. The members of Odessa homoeopathic Society listened to and discussed the lectures on the major constituents of Materia Media, Materia Morbi, posology, repertorization and philosophy of homoeopathy.

Today SMHSOR communicates with the largest professional Centres of CIS and Baltia, Europe and the world, and also is a subscriber of the leading editions on homoeopathy.

Thus, history of Odessa homoeopathy and Ukrainian homoeopathic School has deserving continuation, and due to high level of knowledge and integration of specialists, development of wide professional communications, homoeopathic association of the South Ukraine will be able to take important part in the annals of history of homoeopathy in Europe.
